What this policy covers
Mirro is a macOS app that connects locally to an iPhone. This page describes information handled by the Mirro app and website. Mirro does not relay your mirrored screen through a video server.
For privacy questions, contact hello@eridion.xyz. The app and website are provided by Eridion, 28 rue John Waterloo Wilson, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. Eridion is responsible for the personal information it handles for the website and customer support. Lemon Squeezy handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
Information on your devices
App preferences, saved phone selection and connection components are stored on your Mac. Trial usage, a random installation identifier, and any activated license key and instance ID are held in a device-only, nonsynchronizing macOS Keychain item.
Screenshots and recordings are saved to locations you choose. Microphone capture is off unless you enable it and grant permission. Clipboard features can transfer text or images between devices; automatic sync does this while enabled. The text composer pastes into the selected iPhone field.
Optional input-sequence recording stores actions and typed text locally. Pairing records used by connection tools also remain local. Diagnostics are created locally and are shared only if you choose to send them.
Setup and license services
Initial setup can download Python from Astral’s GitHub distribution and connection packages from PyPI. Optional developer-service preparation downloads image components and communicates with Apple’s signing service. These providers receive network and request information, including information needed to fulfill the request.
Purchased-license activation and validation contact Lemon Squeezy over HTTPS. The app sends the license key and a random installation label or activation instance ID. These license requests do not include your screen, pairing records, hardware serial number, name or email address. Signed owner licenses are verified locally instead.
Customer-license checks also send a SHA-256 fingerprint of the license key to our HTTPS license service on activation, launch and hourly while Mirro is open. This lets us revoke leaked or invalid keys independently of Lemon Squeezy. Our blocklist stores fingerprints, decisions, timestamps and optional private notes, without storing the raw keys. Hosting infrastructure processes ordinary request information, including IP addresses. Activated licenses keep working offline until an online check confirms revocation. Update settings do not disable license checks.
To confirm an interrupted activation, Mirro sends a license record ID, random recovery token, prior random installation label and a proof derived from the license key to our recovery service. The app does not send the raw key to this service. The private backend temporarily reads the license and activation records from Lemon Squeezy, verifies the proof, and returns only the matching activation identifier. It does not store or log the key or customer details.
Checkout collects customer and payment information directly through Lemon Squeezy. Its privacy policy explains that processing.
This website
This site does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts or third-party fonts. A reduced-motion preference can be remembered in local storage. FAQ searches and the illustrative demo run locally in your browser; their text is not sent to a server or saved by the site.
The hosting infrastructure processes information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request details and operational logs. The owner-only text editor uses a private session cookie and stores website text and revision history in Cloudflare. A private preview may require platform-managed sign-in. Mirro does not use either sign-in to create an app account.
App update checks contact our HTTPS release feed and can include the installed app version and ordinary network request information. The app verifies signed update information and downloads before installation. Product images, videos and release archives on this website are stored in Cloudflare.
Support emails
When you email hello@eridion.xyz, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to answer your question, provide support, or handle purchase and privacy requests. Avoid sending passwords, pairing records or full license keys in an initial message.
Retention and removal
You control local screenshots, recordings, sequences and app data. Deleting the app can leave its Application Support folder and Keychain record behind. Deactivate a license before moving its activation to another Mac. Contact us for help finding or removing local records.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and follow-up or legal obligations. Payment providers apply their own retention requirements. We review retained correspondence and remove it when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
Privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to a relevant data-protection authority. Email hello@eridion.xyz to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity. Payment-provider requests may also need to go to that provider.
Updates
We will update this policy when the product or its data handling changes. The date above identifies this version.
Why we process information
We use information needed to provide purchases and customer support to fulfill our agreement with you, or respond before you buy. We rely on our legitimate interests to operate and protect the website and respond to general enquiries, and on legal obligations where records must be retained. Where consent is required, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
